Objective
Ensure the jacuzzi area in hospitality facilities is cleaned and sanitised to the highest Australian standards, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
Scope of Work
- Remove all debris and rubbish from the jacuzzi area.
- Sanitise all surfaces including the jacuzzi shell, steps, and surrounding tiles.
- Wipe down all handrails and controls with a disinfectant solution.
- Clean and polish all glass surfaces and mirrors.
- Vacuum and mop the surrounding floor area using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Ensure all drains and filters are free from visible debris.
- Check and refill any dispensers (e.g., soap, sanitiser) as needed.
Method
- Begin by donning appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves and goggles.
- Remove all visible debris and rubbish from the jacuzzi and surrounding area, disposing of it in the appropriate rubbish bin.
- Using a colour-coded cleaning cloth, apply a disinfectant solution to all surfaces of the jacuzzi, ensuring thorough coverage.
- Wipe down all handrails, controls, and any high-touch areas with a disinfectant wipe.
- Clean glass surfaces and mirrors with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks remain.
- Vacuum the surrounding floor area to remove dust and debris, then mop with a sanitising solution.
- Inspect drains and filters, removing any visible debris to ensure proper water flow.
- Check all dispensers and refill as necessary, ensuring they are clean and operational.
