Objective

To ensure the Pool Bar area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting all surfaces including bar counters, shelves, and decorative items.
  • Sanitising bar counters, tables, and seating areas.
  • Mopping floors with appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Cleaning and sanitising sinks and taps.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning glassware and utensils to ensure no streaks or residues.
  • Wiping down and sanitising high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
  • Ensuring poolside furniture is clean and free of debris.
  • Checking and replenishing hand sanitiser dispensers.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust and prevent redistribution.
  2. Sanitise bar counters and tables using a food-safe sanitiser, ensuring all surfaces are wiped thoroughly.
  3. Mop floors using a neutral pH cleaner suitable for the flooring type, ensuring no slippery residues are left.
  4. Clean sinks and taps with a non-abrasive cleaner, ensuring all soap scum and watermarks are removed.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  6. Wash glassware and utensils in a dishwasher or by hand using hot water and detergent, ensuring they are dried and polished.
  7. Wipe down high-touch areas with a disinfectant wipe, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
  8. Inspect poolside furniture, wiping down with a damp cloth and removing any debris.
  9. Check hand sanitiser dispensers, refilling as necessary and ensuring they are functioning correctly.
