Objective

Ensure the swimming pool area in hospitality facilities is cleaned to the highest Australian standards, maintaining hygiene, safety, and aesthetic appeal.

Scope of Work
  • Clean and sanitise all poolside surfaces, including tiles and decking.
  • Wipe down and sanitise pool furniture such as loungers and tables.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Ensure all glass surfaces, including barriers and windows, are streak-free and clear.
  • Mop and sanitise changing room floors, ensuring they are dry and safe.
  • Clean and sanitise shower and toilet facilities, ensuring all fixtures are free from grime and build-up.
  • Dust and wipe down all high-touch surfaces, including handrails and door handles.
  • Ensure all signage is clean and legible.
Method
  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin by emptying rubbish bins and replacing liners.
  3. Dust and wipe down all high-touch surfaces using appropriate sanitising solutions.
  4. Clean and sanitise poolside surfaces, using a pressure washer if necessary for stubborn stains.
  5. Wipe down and sanitise all pool furniture, ensuring no residue is left.
  6. Clean glass surfaces with a streak-free glass cleaner.
  7. Mop changing room floors with a disinfectant solution, ensuring they are left dry.
  8. Sanitise shower and toilet facilities, ensuring all fixtures are free from grime.
  9. Inspect all areas to ensure cleanliness and address any missed spots.
