Objective

Ensure the crane area in the industrial facility is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety and compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces including crane controls, railings, and platforms.
  • Sanitise high-touch areas such as control panels and handrails.
  • Remove rubbish and debris from the area.
  • Vacuum or sweep floors to remove dust and particles.
  • Mop floors with appropriate cleaning solution to remove stains and spills.
  • Inspect and clean any visible grease or oil spills promptly.
Method
  1. Begin by removing all rubbish and debris from the area and dispose of it in the designated rubbish bins.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest points and working downwards.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas using a suitable sanitising solution, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped.
  4. Vacuum or sweep the floor to remove dust and particles, paying special attention to corners and edges.
  5. Mop the floor using a colour-coded mop and bucket system, ensuring the use of appropriate cleaning solutions for industrial areas.
  6. Inspect the area for any remaining grease or oil spills and clean using a degreaser if necessary.
