Objective

Ensure the cooling tower is cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining hygiene and safety in compliance with Australian regulations.

Scope of Work
  • Remove debris and rubbish from the cooling tower area.
  • Sanitise all accessible surfaces to prevent microbial growth.
  • Use colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Wipe down all external surfaces of the cooling tower.
  • Vacuum any dust or particulate matter from surrounding areas.
  • Mop floors around the cooling tower to remove any spills or stains.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Method
  1. Prepare the area by removing any visible debris and placing it in the rubbish bin.
  2. Use a trolley with colour-coded cleaning supplies to ensure no cross-contamination occurs.
  3. Apply a sanitising solution to all accessible surfaces, allowing appropriate contact time as per product instructions.
  4. Wipe down surfaces with a clean cloth, ensuring all areas are covered.
  5. Vacuum surrounding areas to remove dust and particulate matter.
  6. Mop the floor with a suitable cleaning solution, focusing on any stained or soiled areas.
  7. Inspect the area to ensure all cleaning tasks have been completed to the required standard.

Documentation
