Objective

Ensure the locker room in the industrial facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces including lockers, benches, and fixtures.
  • Sanitise all high-touch areas such as door handles, taps, and lockers.
  • Clean and mop floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
  • Clean and sanitise shower areas and toilets.
  • Ensure mirrors and glass surfaces are streak-free.
  • Check and refill soap dispensers and paper towel holders.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth.
  2. Apply a sanitising solution to high-touch areas and allow to dwell for the recommended time before wiping clean.
  3. Use a mop and bucket with a colour-coded system to clean the floors, ensuring no cross-contamination.
  4. Empty rubbish bins and replace liners, then sanitise the bin surfaces.
  5. Clean shower areas and toilets with a disinfectant cleaner, ensuring all surfaces are scrubbed and rinsed.
  6. Wipe mirrors and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner to remove streaks.
  7. Check soap dispensers and paper towel holders, refilling as necessary.

PassNoticeable dust on surfaces, floors have some debris, rubbish bins are not emptied, shower and toilet areas have visible stains, mirrors and glass surfaces are streaky, and dispensers are partially stocked.
FailHeavy dust on surfaces, floors are dirty with significant debris, rubbish bins are overflowing, shower and toilet areas are unclean with strong odours, mirrors and glass surfaces are heavily streaked, and dispensers are empty.
