Objective
Ensure the security checkpoint area is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all personnel and visitors.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including counters, equipment, and furniture.
- Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles, security equipment, and counters.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and mats.
- Mop hard floors with appropriate cleaning solution.
- Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
- Clean and polish glass surfaces and mirrors.
- Ensure all cleaning is conducted using colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
Method
- Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust particles effectively.
- Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and a clean cloth, ensuring all surfaces are visibly wet for the recommended contact time.
- Vacuum carpeted areas using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner to ensure dust and allergens are captured.
- Mop hard floors with a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the interior and exterior of the bins.
- Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to ensure a streak-free finish.

Fail | Significant dust accumulation; high-touch areas are not sanitised; floors are dirty and wet; bins are overflowing; glass surfaces are heavily streaked. |
Documentation
- Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks

- Maintenance Records: Record any maintenance needs identified during cleaning (for reporting to maintenance team)
