Objective
Ensure the Vehicle Wash Bay is maintained in a clean, hygienic, and safe condition, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove all visible dirt, grime, and debris from surfaces.
- Sanitise all high-touch areas including taps and control panels.
- Pressure wash floors and walls to remove oil, grease, and other residues.
- Empty and clean rubbish bins, ensuring proper waste segregation.
- Ensure drains are free from blockages and clean.
- Wipe down and sanitise all equipment and fixtures.
- Inspect and clean all signage for visibility and cleanliness.
Method
- Begin by removing all loose debris and rubbish from the area.
- Use a pressure washer to clean floors and walls, focusing on removing oil and grease.
- Apply a suitable sanitiser to high-touch areas and allow appropriate contact time before wiping clean.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and clean the bins with a disinfectant.
- Check and clean drains, ensuring they are free from blockages.
- Wipe down all equipment and fixtures with a disinfectant solution.
- Inspect signage and clean with a damp cloth to ensure visibility.
