Objective

Ensure the Vehicle Wash Bay is maintained in a clean, hygienic, and safe condition, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Remove all visible dirt, grime, and debris from surfaces.
  • Sanitise all high-touch areas including taps and control panels.
  • Pressure wash floors and walls to remove oil, grease, and other residues.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, ensuring proper waste segregation.
  • Ensure drains are free from blockages and clean.
  • Wipe down and sanitise all equipment and fixtures.
  • Inspect and clean all signage for visibility and cleanliness.
Method
  1. Begin by removing all loose debris and rubbish from the area.
  2. Use a pressure washer to clean floors and walls, focusing on removing oil and grease.
  3. Apply a suitable sanitiser to high-touch areas and allow appropriate contact time before wiping clean.
  4. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and clean the bins with a disinfectant.
  5. Check and clean drains, ensuring they are free from blockages.
  6. Wipe down all equipment and fixtures with a disinfectant solution.
  7. Inspect signage and clean with a damp cloth to ensure visibility.
