Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing industrial yard area, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the yard area.
- Sweep all hard surfaces to remove dust and dirt.
- Pressure wash surfaces to remove stains and grime.
- Sanitise high-touch areas such as gates and handrails.
- Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned.
- Maintain clear pathways and access points free of obstructions.
Method
- Conduct a visual inspection of the yard area to identify cleaning needs.
- Use a broom to sweep all hard surfaces, collecting debris into a dustpan.
- Utilise a pressure washer to clean surfaces, focusing on stained or heavily soiled areas.
- Apply a sanitising solution to high-touch areas using a spray bottle and cloth.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and clean the interior and exterior of bins.
- Perform a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to standard.

Documentation
- Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks
- Incident Reports: Documentation of any cleaning-related incidents, spills, or issues encountered
- Maintenance Records: Record any maintenance needs identified during cleaning (for reporting to maintenance team)
- Photos: Before and after photos as requested to document cleaning completion and quality
