Objective

Ensure the chiller room in the retail facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning and safety standards.

Scope of Work
  • Remove all visible debris and rubbish from the floor and surfaces.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, and control panels.
  • Mop the floor using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Wipe down all shelving and storage units with a suitable cleaning agent.
  • Ensure all drains are clear and free from blockages.
  • Check and clean air vents to ensure proper air circulation.
  • Dispose of all rubbish in designated rubbish bins.
Method
  1. Begin by removing all visible debris and rubbish from the floor and surfaces, placing them in the appropriate rubbish bins.
  2. Use a sanitising solution to wipe down all high-touch surfaces, ensuring thorough coverage.
  3. Mop the floor with a colour-coded mop and bucket system, using a disinfectant solution suitable for chiller environments.
  4. Wipe down shelving and storage units with a cleaning agent, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  5. Inspect and clear any blockages in drains, ensuring they are free-flowing.
  6. Clean air vents with a vacuum or damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
  7. Ensure all rubbish is disposed of in the designated bins and replace bin liners as needed.
