Objective

To ensure the aircraft wash area within the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft exterior surfaces including fuselage, wings, and tail.
  • Sanitising of all touchpoints such as door handles and service panels.
  • Removal of dirt, grime, and contaminants from aircraft surfaces.
  • Application of appropriate cleaning agents to prevent corrosion and maintain surface integrity.
  • Use of colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Proper disposal of cleaning waste in designated rubbish bins.
Method
  1. Inspect the aircraft for any visible dirt or contaminants.
  2. Prepare cleaning solutions according to manufacturer instructions and safety data sheets.
  3. Apply cleaning solution using appropriate equipment, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all cleaning agents and residues.
  5. Dry surfaces using clean, lint-free cloths or air drying methods.
  6. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
