Objective

To ensure the metal detector area in the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all users.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting of all surfaces including the metal detector frame and surrounding areas.
  • Sanitising of high-touch areas such as control panels and handles.
  • Wiping down of all visible surfaces to remove smudges and fingerprints.
  • Vacuuming of the floor area around the metal detector to remove debris.
  • Emptying and sanitising of nearby rubbish bins.
  • Inspection and cleaning of any visible stains or marks on the metal detector and surrounding area.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust without dispersing it into the air.
  2. Apply a suitable sanitiser to high-touch areas, allowing appropriate dwell time for effective germ kill.
  3. Use a damp cloth to wipe down all surfaces, ensuring removal of smudges and fingerprints.
  4. Vacuum the floor area using a vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter to ensure dust and allergens are captured.
  5. Empty rubbish bins and replace liners, then sanitise the bin surfaces.
  6. Inspect the area for any stains or marks and clean using appropriate cleaning agents.
