Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing sculpture garden within the transportation hub, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Dusting of all sculptures and surrounding areas.
- Sanitising of seating areas and handrails.
- Removal of rubbish and debris from pathways and garden beds.
- Cleaning and polishing of any glass or reflective surfaces.
- Spot cleaning of any spills or stains on hard surfaces.
- Weeding and removal of any organic debris from garden beds.
- Cleaning of signage and information boards.
Method
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Begin by dusting sculptures with a soft, dry cloth to avoid damage.
- Sanitise seating areas and handrails using a disinfectant spray and cloth.
- Collect rubbish using a trolley and dispose of it in designated rubbish bins.
- Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and microfibre cloth.
- Spot clean spills with appropriate cleaning agents based on the surface type.
- Remove weeds manually or with appropriate tools, ensuring no damage to sculptures.
- Wipe down signage with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
