Objective
To ensure the taxiway at the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, in compliance with Australian cleaning and workplace health and safety standards.
Scope of Work
- Remove all debris and foreign objects from the taxiway surface.
- Sanitise all taxiway markings to ensure visibility and safety.
- Conduct a thorough inspection for any spills or stains and clean accordingly.
- Ensure all drainage systems are free from blockages and clean.
- Maintain cleanliness around lighting fixtures and signage.
- Regularly check and clean any adjacent areas such as taxiway shoulders.
Method
- Conduct a visual inspection of the taxiway to identify areas requiring cleaning.
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to organise tasks and prevent cross-contamination.
- Utilise a trolley equipped with necessary cleaning supplies to efficiently manage the cleaning process.
- Remove debris using appropriate tools and dispose of in designated rubbish bins.
- Sanitise markings and surfaces using approved cleaning agents.
- Inspect and clean drainage systems to ensure proper function.
- Document all cleaning activities and report any issues to the supervisor.

Documentation
- Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks
