Objective

Ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment in the barber shop of the aged care facility, adhering to relevant cleaning standards.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces including shelves, counters, and barber chairs.
  • Sanitize barber chairs, headrests, and armrests.
  • Clean and disinfect all mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Vacuum and mop floors to remove hair and debris.
  • Wipe down and disinfect all door handles and light switches.
  • Empty and sanitize waste bins.
  • Clean and sanitize wash basins and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored safely and securely.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfiber cloth to capture dust and hair.
  2. Apply disinfectant to barber chairs, ensuring all contact surfaces are thoroughly wiped.
  3. Use glass cleaner to clean mirrors and glass surfaces, ensuring no streaks are left.
  4. Vacuum the floor to remove loose hair and debris, followed by mopping with a disinfectant solution.
  5. Wipe down door handles and light switches with disinfectant wipes.
  6. Empty waste bins, replace liners, and sanitize the interior and exterior of the bins.
  7. Clean wash basins with a non-abrasive cleaner, followed by a disinfectant spray.
  8. Store all cleaning supplies in a designated area, ensuring they are labeled and secure.
