Objective

To ensure the shower facilities in the commercial office are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Thorough cleaning and sanitising of shower cubicles, including walls, floors, and doors.
  • Cleaning and polishing of taps and showerheads to remove watermarks and soap scum.
  • Sanitising and wiping down of all surfaces, including benches and shelves.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Refilling of soap dispensers and other consumables.
  • Cleaning and sanitising of mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Dusting and wiping of all horizontal surfaces.
  • Mopping of floors with appropriate cleaning solution.
  • Inspection and removal of any mould or mildew.
  • Ensuring all drains are clear and free of debris.
Method
  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring colour-coded cleaning cloths are used for different areas to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin by emptying rubbish bins and replacing liners.
  3. Spray and wipe down all surfaces with a sanitising solution, paying special attention to high-touch areas.
  4. Clean shower cubicles from top to bottom, using a non-abrasive cleaner for tiles and glass.
  5. Polish taps and showerheads with a microfibre cloth to remove watermarks.
  6. Refill soap dispensers and check other consumables.
  7. Mop the floor with a disinfectant solution, ensuring no puddles are left behind.
  8. Inspect for mould and mildew, treating any affected areas with an appropriate cleaner.
  9. Check and clear drains as necessary.
  10. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the quality criteria.
