Objective
Ensure the Pool Plant Room in the education facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning and safety standards.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces, including ledges, pipes, and equipment.
- Sanitise all high-touch surfaces, including door handles and light switches.
- Mop floors with appropriate cleaning solution to prevent slip hazards.
- Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
- Inspect and clean ventilation grilles to ensure proper air flow.
- Wipe down and sanitise all control panels and switches.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with relevant safety and environmental standards.
Method
- Prepare cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used to prevent cross-contamination.
- Dust all surfaces using a damp microfibre cloth to capture dust effectively.
- Sanitise high-touch areas with a disinfectant spray, allowing appropriate dwell time for effectiveness.
- Mop floors using a wet mop and a neutral pH cleaning solution, ensuring no residue is left.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise bin surfaces.
- Wipe down ventilation grilles with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Inspect all cleaned areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
