Objective
To ensure the amphitheatre in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and pleasant environment for all users.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including seats, railings, and ledges.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean stains.
- Mop hard floors with appropriate cleaning solution.
- Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
- Clean and polish glass surfaces and mirrors.
- Ensure all areas are free from cobwebs and visible dust.
- Check and clean air vents and grilles.
- Ensure all cleaning is conducted using colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
Method
- Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust effectively.
- Vacuum carpeted areas using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner to ensure dust and allergens are contained.
- Spot clean any stains on carpets using a suitable carpet cleaner.
- Mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner to avoid damage to surfaces.
- Sanitise high-touch surfaces with a hospital-grade disinfectant.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and ensure bins are clean and odour-free.
- Clean glass surfaces with a streak-free glass cleaner.
- Inspect and remove any cobwebs using an extendable duster.
- Clean air vents and grilles with a damp cloth to remove dust build-up.
