Objective
Ensure the bike path within the government building precinct is clean, safe, and visually appealing, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the bike path.
- Sweep and mop the path to remove dirt and stains.
- Sanitise high-touch surfaces such as railings and benches.
- Ensure all signage is clean and visible.
- Check and clean adjacent areas to prevent debris from encroaching onto the path.
Method
- Inspect the bike path for rubbish and debris, removing all items and disposing of them in the appropriate rubbish bins.
- Use a broom to sweep the entire path, focusing on corners and edges where debris accumulates.
- Prepare a mop with a suitable cleaning solution and mop the path, ensuring all stains and marks are removed.
- Sanitise high-touch surfaces using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Wipe down all signage with a damp cloth to ensure clarity and visibility.
- Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the quality criteria.
