Objective
Ensure the fire escape in the government building is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety and compliance with Australian regulations.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including handrails, ledges, and corners.
- Sanitise handrails and high-touch areas.
- Vacuum and mop all floors, ensuring no debris or obstructions.
- Remove rubbish and ensure bins are emptied and sanitised.
- Clean and polish signage and emergency equipment casings.
Method
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Dust surfaces using microfibre cloths to capture dust effectively.
- Sanitise handrails with a disinfectant approved by Australian health standards.
- Vacuum floors using a HEPA-filter vacuum to ensure air quality.
- Mop floors with a neutral pH cleaner to prevent surface damage.
- Inspect and clean emergency signage and equipment casings with a damp cloth.
