Objective
Ensure the outdoor gym area in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and pleasant environment for all users.
Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the outdoor gym area.
- Sanitise all gym equipment, including benches, bars, and handles.
- Wipe down all surfaces, including seating and railings, with appropriate cleaning agents.
- Sweep and mop the flooring to remove dirt and grime.
- Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned.
- Inspect and clean surrounding areas, including pathways and entry points, to ensure they are free of litter and dirt.
Method
- Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris, placing it in the designated rubbish bins.
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to avoid cross-contamination, ensuring separate cloths and mops for different areas.
- Apply a suitable sanitising solution to all gym equipment, allowing it to dwell for the recommended time before wiping clean.
- Wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth and appropriate cleaning agent, ensuring all areas are covered.
- Sweep the entire area to remove loose dirt and debris, followed by mopping with a disinfectant solution.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and clean the bins with a disinfectant spray.
- Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the cleanliness standards.
