Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing sculpture garden in a government building, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove rubbish and debris from all areas of the sculpture garden.
- Dust and clean all sculptures and installations using appropriate methods to avoid damage.
- Sweep and mop pathways and paved areas to remove dirt, leaves, and other debris.
- Sanitise seating areas and handrails.
- Clean and polish any glass or reflective surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of rubbish bins and replace liners as needed.
- Ensure all signage is clean and legible.
Method
- Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris, placing it in the rubbish bin.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to gently dust sculptures, ensuring no damage to surfaces.
- Sweep pathways and paved areas, then mop using a neutral pH cleaner.
- Sanitise seating areas and handrails with a disinfectant solution.
- Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and polish to a streak-free finish.
- Check rubbish bins, replace liners, and wipe down exterior surfaces.
- Wipe down signage with a damp cloth to ensure clarity and cleanliness.
