Objective

Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the casual dining area of a hospitality facility, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and practices.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting of all surfaces including tables, chairs, and fixtures.
  • Vacuuming and mopping of floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sanitising of tables, chairs, and high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
  • Cleaning and sanitising of toilets and washbasins.
  • Emptying and sanitising of rubbish bins.
  • Spot cleaning of walls and skirting boards.
  • Cleaning of windows and glass surfaces.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
  2. Vacuum the floor thoroughly, paying special attention to corners and under furniture.
  3. Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  4. Sanitise tables and chairs with a food-safe sanitiser, allowing appropriate contact time.
  5. Clean and sanitise toilets using a toilet-specific cleaner and brush, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  7. Spot clean walls and skirting boards with a damp cloth and appropriate cleaner.
  8. Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, ensuring streak-free results.
