Objective

To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the fitness centre, enhancing the safety and experience for all users.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting all surfaces including equipment, benches, and ledges.
  • Sanitising all gym equipment, mats, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Vacuuming and mopping all floor areas.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers, and change rooms.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Refilling soap dispensers and paper towel holders.
Method
  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Start by dusting all surfaces from high to low.
  3. Sanitise gym equipment using appropriate disinfectants.
  4. Vacuum all carpeted areas and mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner.
  5. Clean toilets and showers with a disinfectant cleaner, ensuring all fixtures are sanitised.
  6. Empty rubbish bins and replace liners, then sanitise the bins.
  7. Clean mirrors and glass with a streak-free glass cleaner.
  8. Check and refill soap dispensers and paper towel holders.

PassNoticeable dust on surfaces. Equipment has visible residue. Floors have visible marks and debris. Toilets and showers are clean but with noticeable odours. Bins are not empty or sanitised. Mirrors and glass have visible streaks. Supplies are low.
