Objective
Ensure the massage room in the hospitality facility is cleaned to the highest Australian standards, maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including shelves, tables, and decorative items.
- Sanitise massage tables, chairs, and any equipment used during treatments.
- Vacuum and mop floors using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
- Clean and polish mirrors and glass surfaces.
- Wipe down walls and skirting boards to remove any marks or stains.
- Ensure all taps and sinks are cleaned and sanitised.
- Check and refill any dispensers (e.g., hand sanitiser, soap).
- Remove any unpleasant odours using appropriate air fresheners.
Method
- Begin by dusting all surfaces from top to bottom to prevent recontamination.
- Use a sanitising solution to clean massage tables and chairs, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped.
- Vacuum the floor using a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to capture dust and allergens.
- Mop the floor with a disinfectant solution, using a colour-coded mop to avoid cross-contamination.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and ensure bins are sanitised.
- Clean mirrors and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner for a streak-free finish.
- Wipe down walls and skirting boards with a damp cloth and appropriate cleaning solution.
- Sanitise taps and sinks, ensuring no water spots or residue remain.
- Check dispensers and refill as necessary, ensuring they are clean and functioning.
- Use air fresheners to maintain a pleasant aroma in the room.
