Objective
To maintain a clean, hygienic, and visually appealing pool deck area in hospitality facilities, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the pool deck area.
- Sanitise all surfaces, including lounge chairs, tables, and railings.
- Clean and sanitise poolside showers and change rooms.
- Mop and dry all tiled surfaces to prevent slip hazards.
- Ensure all drains are clear of debris and functioning properly.
- Wipe down and sanitise all high-touch areas, including door handles and taps.
- Inspect and clean poolside rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
- Ensure all signage is clean and visible.
Method
- Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris, disposing of it in the appropriate rubbish bins.
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to sanitise all surfaces, ensuring no cross-contamination between areas.
- Apply a suitable cleaning solution to all poolside furniture and fixtures, allowing adequate contact time before wiping clean.
- Use a mop and appropriate cleaning solution to clean tiled surfaces, ensuring they are left dry to prevent slips.
- Check and clear all drains of debris, ensuring proper water flow.
- Wipe down all high-touch areas with a disinfectant wipe or solution.
- Inspect rubbish bins, replace liners, and ensure bins are clean and odour-free.
- Clean all signage with a damp cloth, ensuring they are free from dirt and smudges.
