Objective
To maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment in the sports bar area, ensuring compliance with Australian health and safety standards.
Scope of Work
- Dusting all surfaces including tables, chairs, and bar counters.
- Sanitising high-touch areas such as door handles, taps, and bar tops.
- Vacuuming and mopping all floor surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washbasins.
- Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins.
- Cleaning glass surfaces including windows and mirrors.
- Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
Method
- Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust effectively.
- Sanitise high-touch areas with an appropriate disinfectant, ensuring contact time as per manufacturer's instructions.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas using a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne dust.
- Mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
- Clean toilets and washbasins using a toilet-specific cleaner, ensuring all surfaces are scrubbed and sanitised.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
- Clean glass surfaces with a streak-free glass cleaner, ensuring no smudges or streaks remain.
