Objective

To ensure the treatment room in the hospitality facility is cleaned to the highest standards, ensuring hygiene, safety, and comfort for all users.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces including shelves, ledges, and equipment.
  • Sanitise all high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and treatment tables.
  • Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  • Clean and sanitise sinks and taps.
  • Ensure all cleaning is conducted using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Check and restock supplies such as hand sanitiser and paper towels.
Method
  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
  2. Dust all surfaces from top to bottom to prevent recontamination.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas using a hospital-grade disinfectant.
  4. Vacuum the floor thoroughly, paying attention to corners and under furniture.
  5. Mop the floor with a disinfectant solution, ensuring no residue is left.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  7. Clean and sanitise sinks and taps, ensuring no water spots or residue remain.
  8. Restock supplies, ensuring all dispensers are functioning correctly.

FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust and smudges. Strong odours present. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floors are dirty with visible residue. Supplies are insufficient.
Documentation
  • Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks
  • Incident Reports: Documentation of any cleaning-related incidents, spills, or issues encountered
  • Maintenance Records: Record any maintenance needs identified during cleaning (for reporting to maintenance team)
