Objective

Ensure the generator room in the healthcare facility is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, focusing on infection control and safety compliance.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces, including equipment and shelving.
  • Sanitise high-touch surfaces such as door handles and light switches.
  • Vacuum and mop floors using a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
  • Ensure no visible dirt, debris, or dust accumulation.
Method
  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with appropriate colour-coded cloths and mops.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
  3. Sanitise high-touch surfaces with a hospital-grade disinfectant.
  4. Vacuum the floor using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne particles.
  5. Mop the floor with a damp mop using a neutral detergent, ensuring no excess water is left on the floor.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
