Objective

Ensure the oxygen store in the healthcare facility is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and compliance with Australian health regulations.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces, including shelves and storage units.
  • Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
  • Mop floors with a disinfectant solution.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to infection control guidelines.
Method
  1. Prepare the cleaning trolley with colour-coded cleaning cloths and solutions.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a damp microfibre cloth to minimise airborne particles.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with an approved disinfectant, ensuring contact time as per manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Mop the floor using a two-bucket system to prevent cross-contamination.
  5. Dispose of waste in designated rubbish bins and replace liners.
  6. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet quality criteria.
