Objective
Ensure the truck parking area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the parking area.
- Sweep and mop the parking surface to remove dirt and stains.
- Sanitise any touchpoints such as ticket machines and entry/exit barriers.
- Clean and sanitise any public amenities such as toilets and wash basins.
- Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned.
- Inspect and clean any signage for visibility and cleanliness.
- Remove any graffiti or unauthorised posters.
Method
- Conduct a visual inspection of the area to identify cleaning needs.
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris.
- Sweep the entire parking area using a broom or mechanical sweeper.
- Mop the surface with a suitable cleaning solution, focusing on stained areas.
- Sanitise touchpoints with a disinfectant spray and cloth.
- Clean and sanitise public amenities using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
- Inspect and clean signage using a mild detergent and water.
- Remove graffiti using a graffiti remover and cloth.

Fail | Significant dirt or stains, excessive rubbish or debris, touchpoints not sanitised, amenities are dirty. Signage is obscured. Graffiti is prevalent. |
Documentation
