Objective

Ensure the truck parking area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Remove all rubbish and debris from the parking area.
  • Sweep and mop the parking surface to remove dirt and stains.
  • Sanitise any touchpoints such as ticket machines and entry/exit barriers.
  • Clean and sanitise any public amenities such as toilets and wash basins.
  • Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned.
  • Inspect and clean any signage for visibility and cleanliness.
  • Remove any graffiti or unauthorised posters.
Method
  1. Conduct a visual inspection of the area to identify cleaning needs.
  2. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  3. Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris.
  4. Sweep the entire parking area using a broom or mechanical sweeper.
  5. Mop the surface with a suitable cleaning solution, focusing on stained areas.
  6. Sanitise touchpoints with a disinfectant spray and cloth.
  7. Clean and sanitise public amenities using appropriate cleaning agents.
  8. Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  9. Inspect and clean signage using a mild detergent and water.
  10. Remove graffiti using a graffiti remover and cloth.
