Objective

To maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing amphitheatre space within a retail facility, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting of all surfaces including seating, railings, and stage area.
  • Vacuuming of carpeted areas and spot cleaning as necessary.
  • Mopping of hard floors with appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sanitising of high-touch surfaces such as handrails, door handles, and seating areas.
  • Emptying and sanitising of rubbish bins.
  • Cleaning of glass surfaces and windows to remove smudges and fingerprints.
  • Removal of cobwebs and dust from ceilings and corners.
  • Ensuring all cleaning activities adhere to colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using microfibre cloths to capture dust effectively.
  2. Vacuum carpeted areas using a HEPA-filter vacuum to maintain air quality.
  3. Mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left.
  4. Sanitise high-touch surfaces with a hospital-grade disinfectant.
  5. Empty rubbish bins and replace liners, ensuring bins are sanitised.
  6. Clean glass surfaces using a streak-free glass cleaner.
  7. Inspect and remove cobwebs using an extendable duster.
  8. Ensure all cleaning tools are cleaned and stored properly after use.
