Objective
To maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing multi-level parking facility in accordance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove rubbish and debris from all parking levels, stairwells, and lifts.
- Sweep and mop all floors, including ramps and staircases.
- Wipe down and sanitise all touchpoints, including lift buttons, handrails, and ticket machines.
- Clean and sanitise all public toilets within the parking facility.
- Dust and clean signage, lighting fixtures, and ventilation grilles.
- Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned.
- Remove any graffiti or markings from walls and surfaces.
- Inspect and clean all entry and exit points, including boom gates and ticket dispensers.
Method
- Conduct a preliminary inspection to identify areas requiring immediate attention.
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination between different areas.
- Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, placing it in designated rubbish bins.
- Sweep all floors using a broom or mechanical sweeper, followed by mopping with a suitable cleaning solution.
- Wipe down and sanitise all touchpoints using a disinfectant spray and microfibre cloth.
- Clean toilets using appropriate toilet cleaning solutions and tools, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised.
- Dust all surfaces, including signage and lighting fixtures, using a duster or microfibre cloth.
- Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as necessary.
- Remove graffiti using a graffiti remover and cloth, ensuring no damage to surfaces.
- Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness standards.

Good | Minor dirt or debris present in less than 5% of the area. Touchpoints are mostly clean with minimal smudges. Floors are mostly clean with minor streaks. Rubbish bins are mostly empty with minimal odour. Minimal graffiti or markings present. |
Pass | Visible dirt or debris present in less than 10% of the area. Touchpoints have some smudges. Floors have visible streaks. Rubbish bins are not overflowing but have some odour. Some graffiti or markings present. |
Fail | Visible dirt or debris present in more than 10% of the area. Touchpoints are visibly dirty. Floors are dirty with significant streaks. Rubbish bins are overflowing and have strong odour. Significant graffiti or markings present. |
