Objective
To ensure the car wash area within the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all users.
Scope of Work
- Thorough cleaning of all wash bays, including walls, floors, and equipment.
- Sanitising of high-touch surfaces such as payment terminals and control panels.
- Removal of rubbish and debris from all areas, including bins and surrounding areas.
- Cleaning and polishing of glass surfaces and mirrors.
- Regular inspection and cleaning of drainage systems to prevent blockages.
- Application of appropriate cleaning agents to remove grease and oil stains.
- Ensuring all signage is clean and legible.
Method
- Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris from the area.
- Use a high-pressure hose to rinse down all surfaces, starting from the top and working downwards.
- Apply a suitable detergent to all surfaces, allowing it to dwell for the recommended time.
- Scrub surfaces with a brush to remove stubborn stains and dirt.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all detergent residues.
- Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant spray and wipe with a clean cloth.
- Dry all glass surfaces with a squeegee to prevent water spots.
- Inspect drainage systems and remove any blockages.
- Polish all metal surfaces to a shine.

Pass | Visible dirt or stains are present but do not affect the overall appearance. High-touch areas are somewhat clean. Glass surfaces have noticeable streaks. Some rubbish or debris is present. Drainage systems have minor blockages. |
Fail | Significant dirt or stains are present. High-touch areas are dirty. Glass surfaces are heavily streaked. Rubbish or debris is clearly visible. Drainage systems are blocked and not functioning. |
