Objective
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Electric Vehicle Charging area within the Transportation Hub, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Remove all rubbish and debris from the charging area.
- Sanitise all high-touch surfaces including charging stations, handles, and buttons.
- Wipe down and clean all signage and display screens.
- Sweep and mop the floor area to remove dirt and stains.
- Dust and clean any nearby fixtures and fittings.
- Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and sanitised.
- Check for and remove any graffiti or vandalism marks.
- Maintain cleanliness of surrounding areas including pathways and access points.
Method
- Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris using a trolley and dispose of it in designated rubbish bins.
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to sanitise high-touch surfaces with appropriate disinfectant.
- Wipe down signage and display screens with a microfibre cloth and suitable cleaning solution.
- Sweep the floor area thoroughly, then mop using a neutral pH cleaner.
- Dust fixtures and fittings using a duster or microfibre cloth.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin surfaces.
- Remove graffiti using a graffiti remover and cloth.
- Inspect and clean surrounding pathways and access points to ensure they are free of litter and dirt.

Documentation
