Objective

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the fine dining area of a transportation hub, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and enhancing the dining experience for patrons.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting of all surfaces including tables, chairs, and decorative elements.
  • Vacuuming of carpeted areas and spot cleaning as necessary.
  • Mopping of hard floors with appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sanitising of all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and railings.
  • Cleaning and sanitising of dining tables and chairs after each use.
  • Emptying and sanitising rubbish bins and replacing liners.
  • Cleaning and polishing of glass surfaces and mirrors.
  • Ensuring all cleaning activities comply with food safety standards as per Food Standards Australia New Zealand.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, ensuring all dust is removed from tables, chairs, and decorative elements.
  2. Vacuum carpeted areas thoroughly, paying special attention to corners and under furniture. Spot clean any stains using appropriate carpet cleaning solutions.
  3. Mop hard floors using a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  4. Sanitise high-touch surfaces with a disinfectant spray, allowing appropriate contact time for effective germ kill.
  5. After each dining session, clean and sanitise tables and chairs using a food-safe sanitiser.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, sanitise the interior and exterior, and replace liners.
  7. Clean glass surfaces and mirrors with a glass cleaner, ensuring a streak-free finish.
  8. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness standards.
