Objective

Ensure the Fire Equipment Store in the Transportation Hub is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety and compliance with Australian regulations.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces, including shelves and equipment.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces, including door handles and light switches.
  • Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
  • Inspect and clean any visible cobwebs or insect presence.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with relevant safety standards.
Method
  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Dust surfaces using microfibre cloths to capture dust effectively.
  3. Sanitise high-touch areas with a disinfectant approved for use in fire equipment stores.
  4. Vacuum floors using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to ensure air quality.
  5. Mop floors with a neutral pH cleaner to avoid damage to equipment.
  6. Dispose of rubbish in designated bins and replace liners.
  7. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet quality criteria.
