Objective
Ensure the generator room in the transportation hub is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including equipment, shelves, and ledges.
- Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches.
- Vacuum and mop floors to remove dust and debris.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
- Wipe down walls and doors to remove marks and stains.
- Inspect and clean air vents to ensure proper airflow.
Method
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Begin by dusting from top to bottom to ensure all surfaces are free of dust.
- Sanitise high-touch areas using an approved disinfectant.
- Vacuum floors using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner.
- Mop floors with a neutral pH cleaner to prevent damage to surfaces.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and ensure bins are clean and odour-free.
- Wipe down walls and doors with a microfibre cloth and appropriate cleaner.
- Inspect air vents and clean with a vacuum or damp cloth as needed.

Quality Criteria

| Pass | Visible dust on surfaces; floors have noticeable marks; odours are present; some high-touch areas are not sanitised; rubbish bins are not emptied or have visible residue. |
| Fail | Heavy dust accumulation; floors are dirty and wet; strong odours present; high-touch areas are not sanitised; rubbish bins are overflowing or dirty. |
Documentation
- Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks
