Objective
Ensure lockers in the transportation hub are clean, sanitised, and free from odours, providing a hygienic and pleasant environment for users.
Scope of Work
- Dust all locker surfaces, including tops and sides.
- Wipe down locker doors and handles with a sanitising solution.
- Remove any rubbish or debris from inside lockers.
- Sanitise the interior of lockers, focusing on corners and edges.
- Check for and remove any graffiti or marks on locker surfaces.
- Ensure locker area floors are swept and mopped.
- Empty and sanitise rubbish bins in the locker area.
Method
- Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
- Begin by dusting all locker surfaces with a microfibre cloth.
- Apply a sanitising solution to a clean cloth and wipe down locker doors and handles.
- Open lockers and remove any rubbish or debris, placing it in the rubbish bin.
- Spray the interior of lockers with a sanitising solution and wipe thoroughly.
- Inspect for graffiti or marks and use appropriate cleaning agents to remove them.
- Sweep the locker area floor, then mop with a suitable floor cleaner.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin surfaces.

Performance Level | Criteria |

Good | Locker surfaces have minimal dust and no visible marks. Interior is sanitised. Floors are clean with minor dampness. Rubbish bins are empty. |
Pass | Locker surfaces show some dust. Minor marks may be present. Interior is mostly sanitised. Floors are swept but may have some damp spots. Rubbish bins are not overflowing. |
Fail | Locker surfaces are dusty, with visible marks and odours. Interior is not sanitised. Floors are dirty or wet. Rubbish bins are full or overflowing. |
Documentation
- Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks
- Incident Reports: Documentation of any cleaning-related incidents, spills, or issues encountered
- Maintenance Records: Record any maintenance needs identified during cleaning (for reporting to maintenance team)
- Photos: Before and after photos as requested to document cleaning completion and quality
