Objective
Ensure the pharmacy area within the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian cleaning and health regulations.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces including shelves, counters, and display units.
- Sanitise all high-touch areas such as door handles, taps, and payment terminals.
- Vacuum and mop all floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Empty and sanitise rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
- Clean and sanitise all glass surfaces including windows and display cases.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with infection control guidelines.
Method
- Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust particles.
- Sanitise high-touch areas with a hospital-grade disinfectant, ensuring contact time as per manufacturer's instructions.
- Vacuum floors using a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to minimise airborne particles.
- Mop floors with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
- Empty rubbish bins, sanitise the interior, and replace liners.
- Clean glass surfaces with a streak-free glass cleaner, using a squeegee for large areas.
