Objective
Ensure the Public Address System in the Transportation Hub is clean, hygienic, and free from dust and debris to maintain optimal performance and public health standards.
Scope of Work
- Dust all external surfaces of the public address system components.
- Wipe down and sanitise all accessible surfaces of the public address system.
- Ensure all surrounding areas are free from dust and debris.
- Remove any visible marks or stains from the system components.
- Dispose of any rubbish in the vicinity of the public address system.
Method
- Use a microfibre cloth to gently dust all external surfaces of the public address system.
- Apply a suitable sanitising solution to a clean cloth and wipe down all accessible surfaces.
- Inspect the surrounding area for dust and debris, and use a vacuum with a HEPA filter to clean as necessary.
- Use a damp cloth to remove any visible marks or stains from the system components.
- Dispose of any rubbish in the vicinity in the appropriate rubbish bin.

Quality Criteria
Performance Level | Criteria |

Excellent | All surfaces are visibly clean and free from dust, marks, and stains. No odours present. Surrounding area is immaculate. |
Good | Minor dust or marks visible on less than 5% of surfaces. No odours present. Surrounding area is clean. |
Pass | Visible dust or marks on less than 10% of surfaces. No strong odours present. Surrounding area is generally clean. |
Fail | Visible dust or marks on more than 10% of surfaces. Odours present. Surrounding area is untidy. |
Documentation
- Cleaning Checklist: Digital or paper checklist to verify completion of all cleaning tasks
- Incident Reports: Documentation of any cleaning-related incidents, spills, or issues encountered
- Maintenance Records: Record any maintenance needs identified during cleaning (for reporting to maintenance team)
- Photos: Before and after photos as requested to document cleaning completion and quality
