Objective

Ensure the sleeping area in the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and comfortable environment for all users.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces including furniture, ledges, and fixtures.
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and rugs.
  • Mop hard floors with appropriate cleaning solution.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and railings.
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, replace liners as needed.
  • Clean and sanitise sleeping pods or beds, including changing linens if applicable.
  • Ensure all windows and glass surfaces are free from smudges and streaks.
  • Check and remove any unpleasant odours using appropriate deodorising methods.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust effectively.
  2. Vacuum all carpeted areas using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner to ensure dust and allergens are removed.
  3. Mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
  4. Use a hospital-grade disinfectant to sanitise all high-touch surfaces, allowing appropriate dwell time for effectiveness.
  5. Empty rubbish bins, clean with a disinfectant wipe, and replace liners.
  6. Change linens on sleeping pods or beds, ensuring they are laundered according to Australian health standards.
  7. Clean windows and glass surfaces with a glass cleaner, using a squeegee for a streak-free finish.
  8. Use an air neutraliser to eliminate any unpleasant odours, ensuring the product is safe for indoor use.
