Objective

Ensure the water feature area within the transportation hub is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and pleasant environment for all users.

Scope of Work
  • Remove debris and rubbish from the water feature and surrounding area.
  • Sanitise all surfaces, including the water feature edges and any seating areas.
  • Dust and wipe down all fixtures and fittings around the water feature.
  • Mop and dry the surrounding floor area to prevent slip hazards.
  • Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied and cleaned.
  • Check and clean any signage related to the water feature.
Method
  1. Use a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Begin by removing all visible debris and rubbish from the water feature and surrounding area.
  3. Sanitise surfaces using an appropriate disinfectant, ensuring all edges and seating areas are thoroughly cleaned.
  4. Dust and wipe down all fixtures, including taps and any decorative elements.
  5. Mop the floor with a suitable cleaning solution, ensuring it is left dry to prevent slips.
  6. Empty and clean rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
  7. Inspect and clean any signage, ensuring it is legible and free from dirt.
